Ava's Tooth!

 Tomorrow will be our 8th snow day this school year.  This is unheard of!  And starting to get on my nerves!  We've also had countless 2 hour delays… The above picture showed what happened one fine snow day.  The older two stuffed Lulu into Ava's toy box and pulled her around the house.  She enjoyed the ride (she enjoy's climbing into things!).

And this happened tonight!  Ava lost her first tooth!  She has had a wiggly tooth forever (her birthday it was wiggly!).  She finally let BJ pull it tonight  and she was all kinds of excited.  She wrote the tooth fairy a note asking what she does with all the teeth.  Now I have to get creative with my response!  I've also got to find a dollar!

Lu's Birthday Party!

Today we had Lu's birthday party!  The snowflakes seemed appropriate for all the snow we've been having this winter!

 Lu opened her presents before cake, she loved the tissue paper.  I just love those chubby cheeks!

 BJ has the messy cake pictures on his phone, but needless to say, she needed a new outfit after cake!

 Lu had her first experience with a cupcake (and we had some, too!).  She picked it up.. stuck her fingers in it.. did eat some of the frosting (most is smashed on the tray).  And rubbed it all over her face.  

After her much needed bath, she got her present:  a stroller.  She's been into babies lately, carries them around and pats them on the back.  So now she has a stroller for them!  She pushed it around for a while tonight.  True could not wait for her to finish, he turned into a race car and zoomed it all over the house.  What a boy!

Snow Days...

Tomorrow will be our fourth snow day… and 3 weeks since I've seen my class!

  Instead, I've been a stay at home mom.  I even baked a squash. 

 I found Goose stuck in this box. Ava put her in there, pushed her around, and then left her!  She enjoyed it though.

True eating the squash.  Yes, it was a hit with True.  He had three helpings.  Ava - not so much.  Lu even ate a few bites.  A win!
