April 30, Day 87

Tonight is Max's last night with us... I am a little sad.. I have been remembering when we got him 6 years ago! I didn't always despise him! But, we just don't have the time for him like we did and I really think he'll be happier with another dog to play with all the time. BJ is taking him up to Ft. Wayne to give him to a family his mom works with, so we'll still hear updates about he is doing...

April 29, Day 86

We got new phones today... I'm pretty excited that mine has a slide out keyboard.. but now I have a whole bunch of new buttons to figure out.. and BJ got a new phone, which means it doubles the amount of time he spends on his phone as he tries to learn everything new.. if you know my husband, you know how much time that is!

April 28, Day 85

Tonight we went on a tour of the hospital where I will have the baby (only 2 1/2 weeks left!!).. I meant to take a picture of the hospital and completely forgot.. so I took a picture of where we ate afterwards instead! I went the doctor today and we set a date for being induced if nothing happens in the next 2 1/2 weeks, my doctor is leaving on a mission trip and will be out of the country for the next two and half weeks, so we'll see what happens between now and then! I can't believe it is so close.. we still don't have names picked out! Yikes!

Today on our way to lunch at my mom and dad's, we were stopped by a train. In Springfield, this happened a lot.. in Mooresville, trains are few and far between. Ava liked seeing the train..

April 24, Day 81

We played Yahtzee tonight (not my favorite game) and I am pleased to say that while I did not win (that would be Pamela), I did beat both Brad and BJ both games! We had a fun evening with Brad taunting Ava by asking her if she wanted to go to the beach.. (she does) Ava was also very aggressive with the goodbye hugs and kissies (just ask Adi about her eye)

April 23, Day 80

Shopping for myself isn't very much fun right now.. but shopping for Ava is! I think I am done buying her clothes for the summer, now!

If Amy can have sick days, I am taking an 8 month pregnancy day.. My mom, Ava, and I went to Greenwood after school today and then to a Premier party at my cousins.. so we didn't get home until later and after giving Ava a bath, I have decided not to stress about finding something silly to take a picture of just to have a picture to post! If I would have been smart, I would have taken my camera with me and taken a picture of Ava and Tait, but I wasn't! So, hopefully tomorrow something exciting will happen and I will rejoin the pic. a day world with a bang...

April 20, Day 77

We told the kids they could dig all they wanted to.. wasn't expecting them to dig this much! Ha! Just kidding... BJ and Brad got the great idea at 8:00 tonight to try and dig up this satellite post, but it didn't work so well.. it's going to have to cut off by my dad's sawzall (sp?)

This is how Ava helps with laundry folding - she tries on all the clothes! I haven't been very creative with my picture taking lately.. maybe I need to do more interesting things!

BJ found a tiny turtle today at church, so he brought it home for Ava to see. She enjoyed watching it walk around - she really wanted to hold it...

April 15, Day 72

I have been switching out my winter clothes and summer clothes (not that I can wear them right now...) but Ava found some of my swimsuit bottoms. She decided to wear them around.. nice that someone is going to wear them this year, because I don't think it will be me!

Ava and I went outside in the front yard, so Max has to be on his leash because he runs off to bark at other dogs (one of the many reasons I am ready to be done with him). Ava then decided she wanted a turn to be walked. We had to attach the leash around her waist and take her for a walk outside. She is so funny...

April 11, Day 69

We went on a walk tonight and Ava cuddled down for a little nap in the stroller... that lasted about 15 seconds! (Sorry Amy, I worked out after school and did not look pretty.. some day you will get to see a picture.. or you could just come over here and see me yourself!)

Here is our remodeled bathroom! It looks so much better than it did. All that needs to be done now is the handles put on the vanity and it is done. Now I am really ready to redo our master bathroom!

April 9, Day 66

We ate at BJ's Brewhouse tonight with some of my family. I ordered the calzone for two (I was going to share with Ava, not eat the entire thing by myself).. they accidently made it for one and then brought out the for two calzone as well! So we have lunch for tomorrow. I love it when that happens!

April 8, Day 65

We ordered caterpillars for our classroom and they came in already! I have never done this before, so I was shocked by how tiny they are! I can't wait to show them to my class tomorrow. Hopefully, I don't kill them off before they turn into butterflies! (Sorry Amy, no pregnant picture... maybe if you started doing your pic. a day again I would see what I could do... :)

April 7, Day 64

I could have taken a picture of all the carpet being done, but I don't want to show off all the piles that are laying around.. so maybe tomorrow more will be put away.. instead, here is the book I am reading!

April 6, Day 63

Part one of carpet installation complete! They carpeted our living room and bedroom today. Tomorrow will be Ava's and the baby room. I can't wait for it to be done!!

I joined a book club that one of the teachers at school is a part of. They read Water For Elephants this time - which I have already read, but they have prizes for being able to answer questions and I answered one! I won some peanuts (the prizes were book themed). How exciting!

April 5, Day 62

Goodbye ugly carpet with stains all over it! Tomorrow new carpet is being installed. It is supposed to be a two day project, so tomorrow when I get home from school I will see how much was done - I am dreading coming home to a mess though, I really hate having stuff everywhere (even though there is stuff everywhere all the time anyways). I can't wait to have these projects done!

April 4, Day 61

Two pictures today because I couldn't resist adding Ava and her bunny ears (for some reason, it always puts the pictures in the opposite order I want them.. grr..) Anyways, we had a fun Easter - Ava got some "prizes" from the Easter bunny, including her cute ears, and we ate dinner at my mom and dad's followed by an egg hunt. Ava enjoyed looking for "eggies." We had several egg hunts at home - she liked looking for them again and again!

April 3, Day 60

This is a horrible picture - but we were at Brad and Pamela's tonight to watch the Butler game. Ava found Eden's baseball helmet and enjoyed trying it on.. pictures of the bathroom soon - still waiting on the mirror, towel rod, etc. to get put up, but the vanity is in place and we have running water! So close!

April 2, Day 59

Ava and I spent most of the afternoon playing outside. She loved playing in her car and on her bike... I thought this picture was super cute - love her!

Not really an exciting picture - but this is the color of the new bathroom.. a little more blue than I had imagined - I was thinking more of a gray blue, but I like it nonetheless.. Saturday it will all be finished (I hope!)
