This girl LOVES q-tips... She had a handful of them tonight and was trying to stick them in her ears. She's very serious about having clean ears. She gets very angry when you take them away. I have to pry them out of her grubby little fingers.

That's my girl! Ava LOVES these shoes. I think it's the shiny black bow they have on them. Anyways, tonight she put these on (on the right foot, even!) and walked around. It was so cute. I can't wait to go shoe shopping with her!

Tonight, my mom came over and helped me pull up ornamental grass. It was threatning to take over the entire flower bed, so I wanted it out of there... It was tough work - considering there was a layer of weed protector (I don't know what it is called) and the grass had attached itself to the top... nasty stuff.. Thanks mom!

Here was tonight's entertainment... Ava gathered all her most treasured possessions and put them in the laundry basket, along with herself. She then read books, played with her baby, dropped BJ's keys out the side, said "uh-oh" and leaned over to pick them up again, and got in and out, over and over... what a funny girl!

Our neighbor gave us some plants. Ava and I were directing Ben-j where to put them. It was funny watching Ava, because everytime BJ would use his foot to push down the shovel, Ava would too. Then she would mimic how he lifted up the plants to put them in the hole. So cute.
