November 30, Day 300

I had book club tonight, so I walked in when Ava was getting ready to go to sleep. She ran to give me a hug with "Mommy, mommy, mommy" sigh... I love these two little people!

November 29, Day 299

One of the girls in my class asked me to read this book for her. She is reading another one right now and wanted to know if this was good. So, I thought why not? I'm not reading anything, so hopefully it is decent!

November 28, Day 298

Aww... My sweet little man fell asleep sitting on Grandma's lap. He is starting to be more mobile - he has been rolling over a lot more lately. He has also started shaking his head no (he doesn't know what it means yet, thank goodness) and opening and closing his hands like he is waving bye bye.. Right now he is making happy squeaks.. such a happy guy!

November 25-27, Day 295-297

So the pictures are a little out of order, but here is my True-baby who was the sweetest baby this weekend!

We spent Thanksgiving with BJ's family. Ava got to play with an Adi who wasn't her arch enemy...

This is what I woke up to this morning - all four of us in one bed! I am looking forward to everyone sleeping in their own beds tonight!

Ava got to put up her Christmas tree today... so exciting (she kept saying, "Hurray, hurray!")

November 24, Day 294

I'm thankful for a night out with friends! We got to go to dinner and Barnes and Noble with our friends, Daniel and Emily. I really miss our Springfield friends, so it is nice that they have family here. Whenever they come to visit family, we try to visit too! We meant to take each other's pictures, but forgot till it was too late. Instead, when I was changing Truett's diaper (Thank you Jim and Sarah for watching the kids for us!) I found that he had one of Ava's diapers on. I know he is a big kid.. but that made me laugh!

I'm thankful for a night out with friends. It's so nice to have friends to talk and laugh with!

So thankful for my sweet-natured True baby... He really is a great baby!

True got some cereal for the first time today! He wanted to put the spoon in his mouth all by himself. I'm a little sad that he is starting to eat food.. he is growing up! Already 6 months have flown by!

I'm thankful for a game night! Even if it was a bit aggravating... I think Kyle was the most aggravated! Ha!

November 19, Day 289

Ava is thankful for her new dollhouse! My dad made this dollhouse for her and it has been waiting upstairs for her birthday. Well, BJ forgot it was there and took her upstairs. She saw it and threw a huge fit when BJ didn't bring it down immediately. We ended up calling my mom and dad so they could watch her "get it." While we were waiting for them to get here, Ava kept saying, "I'm so excited for my new dollhouse!" She wouldn't look up for the picture, she just wanted to play...

We got out my old dollhouse furniture and she played the rest of the evening! I don't think she's been this focused ever! When it was bedtime, she said, "I want my dollhouse right next to my bed so I can see it when I wake up."

Tonight I'm thankful for my bed! It's been one of those days that I am ready for some sleep!

November 17, Day 287

I'm thankful for fun surprises! BJ got me a "t" for Truett necklace to go along with my a for Ava necklace! Now I can spell at!

November 15, Day 285

Tonight I'm thankful for fun family time. We seem to be on the go a lot, so it is always nice to have time to do something fun together. We toasted marshmallows tonight.. BJ said, "She's only had two marshmallows" as he gave her another one.. The girl was still awake at 9:45 when I shut the hall light out! Sugar high!

November 14, Day 284

Well.. I was going to have a really cute picture... Then I turned on my camera and the battery was dead! So imagine a cute little True-baby falling asleep sitting up on Joyce's lap. One of the things I am thankful about moving back is that I was able to reconnect with lots of old friends. I love hanging out with Joyce - she always makes me laugh. I also got to welcome a friend to her 30's today (Happy Birthday, Nikki!) - thankful for these friends!

November 13, Day 283

Tonight I am thankful that a sippy cup of water was a distraction for True. He's been pretty clingy lately.. but this cup was a good distraction. I foolishly put water in it.. he was soaking wet!

November 12, Day 282

I am always thankful for finding great deals! I bought these shoes in green for Ava earlier this fall. Tonight when we were out, I got them in the pink at half-price! Yay for great deals! I got her the next size up, they'll be perfect for this spring.

Tonight I'm thankful that two little girls played nicely together (aside from one spat over small pink teddy bears). They are two super cute little girls!

Thankful to have daddy back after he was gone on an overnight trip!

November 9, Day 279

Today I am thankful for my mom! She takes care of my babies while I am at work and I am so thankful that since I can't be at home with them, they are with someone who loves them as much as I do.

I took a personal day since BJ is out of town, I picked the perfect day. It was beautiful weather outside, so mom, Ava, True, and I had a picnic at the park!

Tonight I am thankful for a beautiful day to play outside with my Ava girl... True-baby just sat in his seat and watched as Ava ran around like crazy..

I'm thankful for True-baby! He is such a good baby - laid-back, easily entertained, and loves his mommy. He gets very excited when he sees me - all his little limbs go flailing about.. Some say it is because I am his food source.. I choose to believe it is because he is a momma's boy!

Tonight I am thankful for dessert left over from dinner out earlier this week (thankful for that giftcard!). I'm also thankful that the big field trip for 5th grade is over... aahh.. to relax the rest of the weekend!

Tonight I am thankful for my (very) small group! It is nice to have other people to laugh and learn with...

p.s. I can't wait for our small group t-shirts! I think we should probably wear them when we are serving at the Thanksgiving dinner.. ha ha!

I remembered today how we posted something we were thankful for during the month of November last year. So, here is something I am thankful for today. I am so thankful for almost three years of having Ava. I can't remember what we did before we had kids to keep us entertained. She has such a funny little personality and is (usually) fun to play with... Tonight's games included, "You be the big dinosaur and I'll be the little dinosaur." She told BJ that she wanted "mommy lay with me for few minutes" She let me share her "cozy blanket." I also love how she tells me, when I am climbing onto her bed, "Don't break my bed, mommy."

November 2, Day 272

Ava found the pieces for her quilt that my mom made sitting in the living room. She wanted to spread them all out and count them!

Looking at them all spread out does make me want to work on it! Maybe I'll have time over the weekend to cut pieces out?!
