Flashback to when we got a new little puppy and named him Max... and then found out he had fleas... Looking back at these pictures makes me miss Max a little bit, but I can't imagine trying to keep him happy along with two small children! Max, you are missed, but in a better place!

This picture just makes me laugh... This was at a mom's group they had at the hospital that you could go to.. This is Simon, Cael, and a tiny little Ava! I can't believe how small she was!

Truett had his 4 month check-up today and tiny he is not. He came in at a whopping 15 lbs 1 oz and 25 inches long! (Roughly the size Ava was at a year old - 15 lb 14 oz.. crazy!!)

Flashback week... I've been under some pressure to find something interesting to take a picture of.. so instead of a new picture of the day, it's flashback week!

September 19, Day 229

The end of a too short weekend.. True-baby slept in his own bed last night for the first time.. he also went in the nursery for the first time today at church.. so sad that he is growing up so fast!

Ava enjoyed a 'popsicle', but she chewed a hole in the middle, so there was frozen yogurt coming out two ends! what a mess! (and on the kitchen floor I just scrubbed...)

September 18, Day 228

Today we went to a honey festival, where we got to ride in a hot air balloon!

In this picture, it is actually BJ, Ava, and I taking our ride. Brad took this picture (along with about 300 others.. grr.. thanks for a shot of the port-o-potties). Ava really liked it and yelled to everyone down below!

Look, Pamela packed her angry eyes.. LOL.. I love that line! (Pamela, I would have had angry eyes to if Brad was taking inappropriate pictures...)

September 17, Day 227

So... I didn't take any pictures today... so here is one from a few nights ago.. it was bath night and both kids were in their diapers.. I'm sure this will be a favorite picture of theirs in years to come! Ha!

September 15, Day 225

A friend gave us her daughter's old bookcase, which is great because Ava has a lot of books! She liked putting her books on the shelf until she got distracted by one of them! We just have to paint it black to match her other furniture.. add another project to BJ's list.. Earlier this week he found out about a great deal at Wal-mart from a friend and bought Ava a $500 swingset for $100.. Hopefully it gets put up before summer is completely over!

September 14, Day 224

The best part of the day.. hanging out with the babies.. (even though Ava keeps saying she's a big kid now.. she's going to ride the "coolbus" with Eden)

September 13, Day 223

Tonight I looked out the window and saw something hopping around... I thought it was the bunnies from the nest BJ found a few days ago.. We went out to look.. there was this little one hiding under the pine tree...

This is the one I saw in the middle of the yard.. he hopped right up to me and crawled over my foot.. he was not shy!

I looked in the nest and found all the original bunnies still there! That means those other two were from somewhere else.. we are overrun with Peter Cottontails!

Tonight's quote from Ava... She was giving him a smooch goodnight and she said, "he pit (spit) on me, I lick it off" nice...

We had some friends and family over for dinner, dessert, and games! Ava liked playing with Tait for a while, then he wanted to share toys with her.. she was not about that! Oh, Ava...

September 9, Day 219

I had some small visitors at school today... She was very excited to sit at desk and use markers! She had to take them home with her in her backpack.. I love that she holds her marker like a big kid!

September 8, Day 218

It has been so beautiful out lately! Ava took advantage of it by playing on her slide.. She had to wear her backpack, so silly! Meanwhile, Truett fell asleep around 6:30 and has been out since! Let's hope he sleeps tonight!

September 7, Day 217

You can't tell in this picture very well, but Ava got a shiner today.. fell over on her bicycle and got thumped in the face.. I think it got worse as the evening went on.. She didn't let it stop her though.. she was all over the place.. she even taught me how to use her scooter.. ("You put your foot wight there and hode on to da hanlebars mommy")

True and daddy laughed at each other for a while...

September 6, Day 216

Today was probably one of Ava's most favorite days ever! She got to go to the park and have a picnic and play on the playground.. she also got a "cooter" as she calls this scooter that was given to her by the Wymers tonight.. She is VERY excited about this scooter.. she had to have it parked by the bed tonight...

What a beautiful day! We shopped in Edinburgh for a while and then BJ started painting our kitchen! It is not done yet - some trim work left to do.. Then I need to do some other things before I post the after picture!

We ended up canceling small group because so many were unable to attend.. but we had some visitors anyway! The girls found Ava's bunny ears... The Ad thought they would look cute on True!

Woke up Truett with the flash.. at least he woke up happy! This little boy rolled over from his tummy to his back today! Yay Truett!
