January 27, Day 365

A whole year has gone by! This marks the 365th day of the blog, time for a rest! I think I'll take a week off and then try again. No promises on every day though - sometimes not enough interesting stuff happens to take a picture of every day, but we'll see! I'll leave you with a picture of super Ava (that is her bib on backwards from dinner) pushing her babies around in the bus.

Brad and the kids came over for dinner. We caught a bit of cousinly love...

I had a friend who ordered a bunch of Uggs online (probably fake) and I decided to get another pair.. now I am not sure if I like them or not... hmm... BJ thinks it looks like someone knitted on my feet.. He is not much help!

We got home quite a bit past Ava's bedtime tonight - went to a friend's house, where BJ helped paint, I talked with Sarah, and Ava got to play with Emma. When we got home, Ava wanted to read her book over and over. We told her she had to go to bed - so she is laying her head down on her book... sweet tired girl!

New glasses, yay!

January 20, Day 358

These are my "old glasses" as Ava calls them every time I put them on. She ran into me a couple of weeks ago when I was wearing my glasses and snapped them in half. So now I have been wearing these that I found in the bathroom - they are from college! Very excited to get my new glasses tomorrow!

I looked up from reading my book, and this is what Ava had on her head... I laughed out loud as she proceeded to chase Max around the room with a potty seat on her head...

Ava and I went over to Joyce's tonight to hang out with Joyce and Brenda and watch some of the Golden Globes... Ava hung out on Landen's couch to watch! She was all about this little couch... so cute!

January 16, Day 354

Started my day off right with a Long John from Biffs... well.. maybe it was not the right way.. This thing sat like a brick through the kickboxing class I went to this morning! At least I got most of it worked off...

January 15 Day 353

I am a shopaholic.. I bought these shoes for Ava for next year. Of course, not really knowing what her size will be is a gamble.. but Von Maur has a one year return policy so I can return them if they don't fit next year. I got them for half their usual price.. I love finding deals like this! I also got some great deals at Old Navy.. it seems like I've expanded over night and nothing wants to fit.. so I bought some shirts for $2 each.. can't beat it!

I went to a Tastefully Simple party tonight that my cousin had. I sat next to Joyce and laughed the whole time... she is funny... anyways, I took a picture of her that she didn't like and I just changed her profile pic. on facebook (Thanks, Sam for the password!).. so funny...

Another night where I find myself with no picture to post! Ugh! So here is the book I am currently reading. Last year I made a resolution to read 100 books - which I did, I actually read 114 books. This year I made no such resolution, figuring I would never make it with everything going on this year... This is book #3 for the year...

We got Ava's big girl sheets in the mail today. Yes, Amy these sheets are uppity, but I finally used a gift card that we got when Ava was born (umm.. 2 years ago!). These sheets cost me 29 cents! I'll take them!

So I know this is not a very good picture, but it is 9:09 pm and I am not feeling very creative or inspired. All I really want is a two hour delay tomorrow! Come on snow!

Our internet was down last night, which is why I did not post my picture. BJ had to go and buy a new modem.. ugh!

Anyways.. here is my little "puzzee" fanatic. She has been very into puzzles the last few weeks. She found the puzzles at the library, so I have a feeling we will be stuck doing puzzles every time we go now!

I got this cup out to drink some water. I should have known better! It was commandeered by an Ava-bean. She would not stop drinking it! I'm betting on a soaker tomorrow morning!

I'm not the only one who loves the Snuggie! I've really enjoyed my two weeks off.. going to miss sweet baby Ava tomorrow!
