We got out this inflatable horse that had been hiding under True's bed till he was big enough to handle it. It was quite the favorite toy of the night... Ava wouldn't do anything that required her to get off it for fear True-baby would nab it away.

True-baby enjoyed it quite a bit (sans pants).

Two cuties off on an adventure.. okay, not really. But they did walk to the bush and back... and aside from one little accident on Sunday night, Ava has been dry since last Tuesday. She still wakes up wet every morning, but I'll take the dry days! She got up tonight and told me she had to go potty... maybe she'll start having dry nights sometime in the near future! I can dream :)

This was my picture from yesterday. I completely forgot to post it. That is occurring more often lately. Anyways, they were playing and laughing and having a good time together. It is fun to watch them.

Here's my Ava girl on her first day of preschool! Woo! As soon as we stepped foot outside it started misting.. so the pictures are not the best quality.

Ahhh... thank you Labor Day for an extra day to spend at home with my babies! I ended up going to Walmart twice... ugh! I don't even like to go to Walmart once in a day, let alone twice.. but that's the way it went. On the second trip we got this nightlight for Ava-Bean. She picked it out because it had princesses. She told us now she won't be scared of the dark. We'll see if it keeps her from joining our bedroom in the middle of the night!

On Saturday, we got some pears at the orchard. True baby ate it up! All he left was the stem and little bit connected to it.

Ava got to have a sucker because she did a good job when we were at the grocery (this included telling me as we approached the checkout with a full cart that she needed to go poopy... so we quick paid for the groceries and then bee lined it to the restroom... sigh.. it is no fun grocery shopping as the only adult with two little kids) . We made it in time and had success. Now if only I could tell you she stayed dry the rest of the day. She did not.

True baby is starting to be more interested in books.. He did the ole 'give her a book and back up into her lap' routine. I love that... when they just back up into your lap and plop down, ready to be read too!

He lounged on the couch with his book making the appropriate, "I'm reading this mommy, pay attention."

We got to see Renee' and family this weekend, which is always fun.. even though Ava and Teagan had about 30 seconds of interaction which ended up with a car thrown at a face.. sigh.. one day they will love each other!

Ava also got to go a last minute s'more party.. even though she did not get a s'more.. she is super excited to spend the night over at Eden and Adi's.. Uncle Brad, we got her packed up with some extra underoos and she'll be there in 10..
