One cute little True baby - this boy has gotten sick all of a sudden - he is drippy nose and congested.. Twice today he has hacked up everything he just ate.. ugh.. does not make for a pleasant day! Ava and I did manage to make some Valentine Day cookies, yum!

Another year older... hmm.. I think it does go by faster the older you get! Mom made my favorite cake for my birthday and Ben-j brought home ice cream cake... I think I'll be putting on the pounds!

Haircuts all around! True got his first trim, he was tired of hearing his Uncle Brad telling him he had a combover.

Ava also got her first real haircut. It ended up being a little shorter than I had intended, but it will grow back, right?! Her hair was all different lengths and a bit scraggly, so now hopefully, it will grow in a little more even.

I realized I didn't really take an after picture of them. Maybe that will be my picture for tomorrow?

I think this may be Ava's new favorite book... We only read it six times tonight (3 times within a 15 minute span!). She wanted to get fancy after we read it; she put on a tutu and a dress at the same time...

Just a picture to show how True is starting to crawl up on all fours now! I can't believe crawling is already here. He even lets go of things and stands by himself for a few seconds.

So, I really was tired yesterday. I had taken this picture before school to show how intent True is on drumming, but I completely forgot about it! He really does like to drum, it is pretty cute.

I ordered a new swimsuit for vacation this summer, and it came today. I was pretty excited about it.. I got two cute summer dresses, a tank top, and swimsuit bottoms and two tops for it for $50! I thought that was a great deal.. goodbye to the rest of my Christmas money! I think I need to start my summer vacation countdown...

Since I had to try on my new dresses to see if they fit, Ava also wanted to play dress-up. She had to put on her dress, which turned her into a fairy princess - she is carrying around her fairy "lond" (instead of wand).

Ava also wrote her name all by herself - I was impressed. Do all parents think they have a little genius? 'Cause I sure do! She did this while helping me grade papers... I saved it for her baby book.
