October 7, Day 253

Tonight Ava and I decided to spend some time outside since torrential rains are supposedly coming tomorrow.  We took the baby stroller outside and Ava pushed it around for a while.  Then she decided to just carry the baby and the washcloth (which is its blanket) around.  While we were walking, we found a house near us has Gus and Gertie dogs - a black one and a tan one.  I tried to get a picture of them, but they were back inside before I got the camera out.

October 6, Day 252

The scene of the crime.  I was on the phone and hear Ava coming back in the room... dragging the toliet paper all the way from the bathroom!  She had assembled quite a bit in her hands and then pulled it all the way into the living room!  Oh, that girl!

October 5, Day 251

Ava came up with a new game tonight.  She likes to sit on the edge of the couch and then fall very dramatically onto the pillows.  She is getting so much personality!

October 4, Day 250

Happy Birthday to my dad!!  Here he is reading Ava one of her favorite books - Jamberry.  

October 3, Day 249

Today was the Big Day at the Orchard.  There were lots of things going on, one was pony rides!  Ava actually got to ride the pony twice, she is so spoiled.  She really liked it even though she doesn't really look like it in this picture!

October 2, Day 248

When Ava and I were on the way home after school, we stopped by a yard sale in our neighbor hood.  It had a lot of toys, but Ava and I picked out this Noah's Ark Little People toy for $3!  She liked putting all the animals in the ark and then flinging all the animals every which way.

October 1, Day 247

BJ brought home this little quilt from VBS back in 2004 or something, too bad we have stacks of quilts and blankets laying around here!  So I told him to take it back (he got it from the old children's minister when she was cleaning out her office).  He said he put it in her van, but then it was hanging outside on our trellis in front of the house... it is so making its way back to her house...  Nicole - I'm thinking about dropping it off sometime while you're babysitting and hiding it in her house!!
